This wonderful car sits behind my "beauty parlor", The Cuttin Sedge, in Wanchese. I looked at it for ages thinking what a fun painting it would make. I did not think I could capture it until after a Mike Rooney workshop on values. I broke the whole thing down into 5 values, assigned the values on various shapes on a black and white photo of it and went to it! Bam, alot of shapes suddenly turned into a favorite painting. It was a corporate purchase by The New South Bank. Like many of my favorites, I had it made into note cards.
