Historic Hope Plantation

Hope Plantation is in our home town of Windsor, N.C. It was the home of Governor David Stone. It is a wonderful place to visit year round, but at Christmas it is decorated by the talented people in the community. All decorations are made with fresh greenery and are authentic to Stone's era. A must see!

I was asked by the Hope Foundation to paint a depiction of the road from Halifax to Edenton from Stone's time. The painting has become part of their permanent collection and was fashioned into a sign which is erected on the plantation grounds.
