Vintage Goose Hunting

I love this image, not just because I have gotten to know the history and the relatives, but because of the colors created for this painting.

The gentleman on the right is the father of a new-old friend recently made. He was from Massachusetts, a coast guard officer who re-settled on the Outer Banks. He made his living running Hotels and hosting shooting parties for the man who wishes to shoot "shore birds". He also is noted for his bringing the sea oat to the other banks to stabilize sand dunes against the wind and water. Quite a gentleman, for sure. 11x14"
