The more I paint, in preparation for my Windsor Show opening November 5th at the Bertie Arts Council, the more I get home sick for all of the beauty and simplicity of the County. The rivers are magical, changing with the lights. On a slow boat down the Cashie there are millions of things to paint, turtles sunning, herons feeding, water cypresses reaching out for sunlight... even the reflections are enticing. 12x16"
