Before Perry Wynnes Fishery was built, the ladies would sit riverside and clean the catch. Imagine what a day that would be, working outside, in the sun, sitting atop barrels, reaching, cutting, and cleaning... imagine later in the day, cooking some of those herrings in a skillet on an open fire. I can smell the fish cooking and oil popping! 8x10"
