I had occasion to be in Englehard, N.C. not too long ago and hopped out of the car to snap some pictures of the harbor. It is so splendid to be there, a real step back in time. I could paint these boats and their reflections time and time again! It's been dreary and rainey all day, so explains the rather exaggerated sky and water. If it can't be, paint it the way you want! Ode to my friend Travette- 16x20" This one just got an Honorable Mention at the Inner Banks Show in Windsor, NC Sold at the Edenton Opening5.12.2009
