Toe Curling Good Icecream

I spent almost 20 years working with children, so I am naturally drawn to them.  These little girls were enjoying their ice cream in a Manteo coffee shop one late afternoon.  The sun was low in the sky and lighting them from a west window and a north window.  I just melted, they were sooooo precious. Their Mom was generous in sharing them with me for a few minutes to capture the moment. They did not spill or drip, but that ice cream was so yummy it curled the toes of one little one.  I smiled all the while I painted, so precious.  8x10" Sold to Evie and Mabry's mom for "Father's Day"
