I loved painting this Bank. It's
Neo- Classical columns were a challenge, but I just kept thinking "shapes". It was slow going, but came together. The strong lights and
darks really helped to define the columns and portico. This was the second Bank in
Edenton, the first being just down the side street in what is now Beverly Hall. The building was given to the town in the 1980 and now houses offices. What a splendid place to go to work everyday! 16x20"
