The Chowan County Courthouse

The Courthouse was built in 1767 of Flemish-bond Brick.  It has recently undergone extensive renovation. It is the oldest government building in the State of North Carolina.  It stands proudly in its original location on King Street facing the Albermarle Sound. Its beautiful front yard is known as "the Green", the playground of generations of Edenton children.   18x24"
